Review policy
At the ICECST Conference, we value the integrity, quality, and transparency of our review processes. We are committed to maintaining a fair, rigorous, and ethical review policy for all submissions.

The policy as follows:

Each submission will be assessed purely on its scholarly merit, alignment with conference themes, and compliance with established submission guidelines and industry standards.

Submitted papers will be reviewed by subject-matter experts who possess relevant expertise in the field.

ICECST implements a double-blind peer review process, where the identities of both the authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review period.

Reviewers and editors are prohibited from sharing or discussing any aspect of the submission outside the review process, ensuring that ideas and unpublished results are safeguarded.

If any conflict is identified, an alternate reviewer will be assigned to maintain the integrity of the review process.

Reviewers are encouraged to report any concerns regarding ethical issues, such as plagiarism, conflicts of interest, or undisclosed funding sources. Such concerns will be escalated to the appropriate committee for further investigation.

Each submission is reviewed by a panel of three to five independent reviewers to ensure a balanced and comprehensive evaluation. Feedback from all reviewers is consolidated before reaching a decision.

We encourage all reviewers to adhere to established deadlines, ensuring that the review process is efficient and timely while maintaining high-quality feedback for authors.

Papers are recommended for acceptance based on the consensus of at least three independent reviewers. In case of conflicting reviews, a third opinion will be sought to ensure a fair decision.

The overall similarity index of a submission must not exceed 15%, and no single source should account for more than 5% of the total content. Submissions that do not meet these criteria will not proceed to the review phase.
